what is the best conditioner for a 2 year old? Also is it better to stick with the same product line for everything?

The “best” conditioner for your little one is going to be unique to her. She has a unique hair type, texture and porosity that will require a unique combination of products. In other words, what works wonderfully for me may not work at all for your little one. Generally speaking, products from the same line are formulated to work together, so it definitely doesn’t hurt to stick with the same line. Realistically though, you’ll probably find out that all of the products from one line don’t work on your little one’s hair. The conditioner may work wonderfully but the leave-in may leave her hair limp. It’s all going to boil down to trial and error.

To narrow down the product selection process, it helps to know your little one’s unique hair type. It’s not full proof but it can help you to exclude certain products. For details on the hair typing system check out this article. There are some recommended products for each type listed.  🙂
